On the nose, the expression is outstandingly rich, intense, and persistent, yet has a delicate aroma that balances oak and smoky notes with subtle tones of fresh pear, coconut and dried fruit. Both dry and sweet, the oaky flavours of this Cuban rum impart a silky opulence and a cascade of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and a hint of vanilla. Its warm, long finish presents spicy notes.
