The Negroni was first crafted in Italy in 1919 by Count Camillo Negroni, who requested his bartender to replace gin in the Americano with something stronger. It became an instant hit and has since been a favourite worldwide. The Cuban version swaps gin for Havana Club rum, creating a smooth, bold, and slightly sweeter take on the classic. It’s a perfect example of how rum can give a cocktail a whole new personality!
