HAVANA CLUB X BURNA BOY
HAVANA CLUB X BURNA BOY
Collab
Havana Club and Burna Boy celebrate the power of culture and communities with a Limited Edition of Havana Club 7. Honouring one’s roots is something that the artist and Havana Club share, from Nigeria to Cuba, and Burna Boy wanted to make sure the limited edition bottle reflected this pride in one’s origins.
Burna Boy
Burna Boy
This vibrant Havana Club 7 limited edition bottle is inspired by the traditional cultural headgear found in South Nigeria, with tassels illustrated on the front label, and a multicoloured “Aso Oke” background – a hand-woven cloth created by the Yoruba People of West Africa often adorning gowns and hats worn for celebratory ceremonies such as weddings. This is Burna Boy’s personal ode to the beauty of culture, the strength of community values and joy to defend his roots.
A toast to hope and togetherness
Honouring one’s roots is something that the artist and Havana Club share, from Nigeria to Cuba, and Burna Boy wanted to make sure the limited edition bottle reflected this pride in one’s origins. Sitting front and centre of the bottle is “Burna Boy” handwritten by the artist himself, while a palm leaf crown wraps the Havana Club logo – an ode to the African Union emblem, and the bottom part of the label integrates the Rivers State region of Nigeria, where Burna Boy was born.
A short film celebrates the intimately interwoven story between Burna Boy and Havana Club; an observance of conviviality, tribe and bonding values, be it in the comforts of one’s home or the optimism of a dancefloor, from Lagos to London. To give a voice to the « Fabric of culture », a voice over by Burna Boy himself takes this movie to the next level, making the collaboration comes to life as a connection of family and friendships via the Havana Club bottle and supporting a spirited message of love from Burna Boy himself:
“It takes a great person to overcome daily trials and tribulations, and an even greater person to intentionally decide that life is for living,” he says. “As we share in the beauty of culture, community and heritage, let’s celebrate in united liberations. Please remember that you are a GIANT, today and always.” A toast to hope and togetherness that Havana Club is proud to be supporting.

HAVANA CLUB X FRENNA
HAVANA CLUB X FRENNA
Collab
Ghanaian-Dutch artist Frenna and Havana Club have joined forces to celebrate passion, talent and the love of art throughout the campaign “A Toast To The Culture”. The collaboration resulted in an impressive video clip, a limited edition bottle with a unique and distinctive design – designed in collaboration with next generation creatives – and a special portrait painting of Frenna.
FRENNA
FRENNA
The bottle features the colours of the Ghanaian flag, which serve as an ode to Frenna’s roots. Also featured in the design are Frenna’s famous ‘777’ logo, an eagle – the tallest bird in the sky that Frenna looks up to and the animal that symbolises Ghana – and seven adinkra symbols that stand for Greatness, Bravery, Creativity, Courage, Wisdom of the Past, Strength and Hatred.
A TOAST TO THE CULTURE
Success is often attributed to the artist himself, but Frenna knows better than anyone that his success has been a process of setbacks, patience, hard work and teamwork. The support he received from his community, friends and family, combined with his passion for the hip-hop culture are the foundation of Frenna’s success.
His Ghanaian roots have always been a major influence on his musical development, upbringing and the value he places on family and friends. This cultural influence and the sense of family that the people around him give him are also important values that he grew up with in the Schilderswijk in The Hague. There, as a child and teenager, he was shaped by everything he saw and experienced in the neighbourhood, and it was there that he developed his work ethic, which has enabled him to realise his dreams.
Havana Club and Frenna believe in the value and importance of creating together and therefore selected six creatives and guided them through mentoring sessions where knowledge and creative ideas were shared. Inspiring each other and sharing creativity were the most important pillars of the process.
The limited edition bottle of Havana Club Rum will be available from April 1st in the Netherlands and Belgium at Gall & Gall, Drankdozijn and Belgian sneakerstores DNA et DeMakers Gallery.

HAVANA CLUB X BAD GYAL
HAVANA CLUB X BAD GYAL
Collab
The Havana Club brand has another reason to be proud: a new collaboration with Spanish artist Bad Gyal. The meeting of the Cuban roots of the brand with the authentic urban energy of the artist is enshrined in the launch of the limited edition Havana Club 7 x Bad Gyal, which was designed as a tribute to parties, music and people.
BAD GYAL
BAD GYAL
“The party is the place of connection with myself and among all of us who are there, the music is felt and when that happens, those of us who are gathered connect with each other… it is an energy that makes me feel alive.” A bold and daring attitude that both Havana Club and Bad Gyal applaud.
Inspiration
The connection that is created in a party is something unique, difficult to explain and as we say in Cuba, music says everything that words cannot say… and that’s why the collaboration Bad Gyal x Havana Club was born, materialized in a special edition designed by the artist herself mixing her urban touch with Cuban rum.
Bad Gyal and Havana Club have always been committed to achieving quality results with authentic style. Aspirations that have come to fruition in this exclusive collaboration, with details like the gold part that drips over the top of the label and the neon pink ink to celebrate the energy generated during parties.

RUM OF SKEPTA
RUM OF SKEPTA
Collab
Havana Club and international musical icon Skepta are proud to announce the next chapter of their global collaboration, a limited-edition rum, Rum of Skepta. Following the creation of two unique Havana Club 7 Rum bottles in summer 2020 and 2021, which drew inspiration from the entwined roots of the brand’s Cuban birthplace and Skepta’s own Nigerian heritage, Rum of Skepta is the pinnacle of a journey which has paid ode to creative impulses, inner strength and the power of community.
RUM OF SKEPTA
RUM OF SKEPTA
Created by Skepta himself alongside Maestro Ronero Asbel Morales in Cuba, during a visit in early 2020, the transporting blend reflects this mood, with a round, balanced flavour profile, subtle on the palate. It is the result of an exceptional meeting of those at the top of their respective fields, and continues a proud tradition of rum creation in the country, something richly embedded in Cuban culture.
A NEW CHAPTER
The collaboration between Havana Club and Skepta began in 2019, when Skepta first visited Havana, Cuba. Struck by deep and entwined links between Cuban traditions and those of his own West African Yoruba heritage through paths of migration, the first two chapters of the collaboration – a pair of redesigned Havana Club 7 Rum bottles – captured this cultural infusion in their labels, which featured traditional Nigerian symbols. The maturation of the collaboration – and an accumulation of the previous chapters of the project – Rum of Skepta was made to encapsulate a feeling of refined elegance, a symbolic emblem of growth, achievement and luxury.
