Behind the legendary promoter the M Agency and Beijing club Haze, Yu Yang started her music career as a promoter and presented China debut of renowned international DJs, such as Justice, Paul Kalkbrenner, Boys Noize from a decade ago.

After being the musical director for both W Shanghai – the Bund and the Shanghai EDITION, she co-founded ALTER., a music and creative agency that aims to connect music talents from all over the world and combines party, art, music, technology fields to create inspiring experiences. Since 2018, ALTER. created over 100 events all over China and has an outreach of over 100,000+ people.
