Hailing from Santiago de Cuba, Obbatuké are rumba pioneers, and have learnt to fuse their traditional musical training with modern genres like jazz, hip-hop, son and electronic music. At this year's Manana // Cuba festival, they sent 10 days collaborating with Andy Turner and Ed Handley, founding members of The Black Dog and seminal UK electronica duo, Plaid. This is one of the highlights from their set at the Teatro Heredia.
